Something I would like to remind you of as you're going back to school, college, or work is that it's just as important to put as much energy into making your heart look pretty as it is making your appearance pretty. Remember every single person is going through something that's difficult, so always wrap your words in kindness. Remember that the things you are going through at the moment will pass as time goes by. Remember you're not supposed to be like anyone else - even if it seems like you should, please let the world see how unique you are. When you stay true to who you are, you will attract the right people into your life. Remember that some friends come and go, and it's not the end of the world when some certain people walk out of your life. Remember to laugh loudly. Remember to work really really hard, and let nothing distract you from that. Remember to enjoy the relationships around because relationship is what life is all about <3
You are quite outstanding. Do you know how amazing you are? There is only one you. There never has been a 'you' before. There never will be another 'you' either. You have been placed in the world, at this time and at this time only. You are completely unique. You think differently. You creative differently. You speak differently. You laugh differently. You dance differently. There is no one like you, darling. And there never will be.
You might see where I'm going with this. It's very easy to look around the world and see all of these wonderfully unique people around us and actually allow ourselves to be intimidated by that. It might make you sad because you wish you were more like them. It might take your confidence away to even shine your own light. It might cause you to even wrong those people, say nasty things but really inside you just wish you were more like them. The thing is sweet one, these horrible feelings that come up in these moments are just a lack of insight to how wonderful and unique you are.
You are also worthy of love.
Comparison is the biggest killer of joy because it produces jealously which doesn't only damage relationships in our lives but it can also damage our relationship with ourselves. Did you know when you feel those feelings you can choose to think something else right away? When you know you are worthy of love and when you know how special you are those feelings of comparison will fade away.
We try to compare ourselves to other people but it's never going to work. Every single person is different and in those moments where we wish we could be like someone else we need to stop, take a deep breathe and love ourselves in that moment because we are enough. We are our own person and that is so beautiful. Celebrate your differences. Celebrate the beauty in others. Be happy for those who have different gifts to you. Remember perfection is a lie. It's not real. Every single person goes through different trials and we all need each other. So spread the love. Spread encouragement. And celebrate people's beauty around you.
What are your gifts in life? What are you really good at? Do those things with all of your heart. Be the best you that you can be. To me the most beautiful people in the world are those that smile, those that have passion, those that are smart, those that love those around them, those that make people around them laugh. That's what beauty is to me. I find people so attractive when who they are is just as beautiful as their outward appearance.
I hope you know how special you are. How beautiful you are. How you are supposed to be unique. I hope you know that you don't need to wish to have someone else's life. I hope you know that you are enough.

For us working with The Rising Star Academy has been the highlight of our December.
We were contacted by Candice, the principle of The Rising Star Academy after we were recommended by the Milton Academy of Dance MAD, early in December.
Her amazing group of dancers and singers had been rehearsing hard in preparation for their upcoming Christmas Show and all they needed was a photographer to capture the event.
Candice invited us to capture the rehearsals on the Thursday evening and the show itself on Sunday, hosted at the Ballard School Theatre, New Milton. We discussed with Candice exactly what she required of us and made our plans for the show. Rehearsals were first and we made friends with the group, sharing some of the images we had taken, this helped to put them at ease for the big night.
Sundays show time came around quickly and we were there early to make certain everything was going as planned. Before we knew it, Candice opened the show and the magic began. We can honestly say, (and we have seen many shows over the years) that this show was something special. The music was punchy, the dancing well choreographed and the singers, more than a little professional, with all the star qualities required to stand up in front of a packed house and nail it. It was cute, with tiny little dancers stealing the show, cheeky, funny and full of energy, exactly what was needed on a cold December evening.
The show closed to a well deserved standing ovation. With Candice handing out rewards to many of the shows performers for all their hard work, it was difficult to think of a better place to be working on a Sunday evening.

You were all amazing in the show on Sunday! I am soooo proud of all of you.
Robb has put up the photos of the show on his website www.robbwebbphotography.co.uk. There are such beautiful pictures you are going to want to get some copies. It's a good idea for Christmas presents.
